Full job description

Stambridge Group are a rapidly expanding company with national sites providing cross-industry services, as well as specialist staff for events across the UK.

There are currently vacancies for SIA licensed security officers in and around Hampton Court Palace area for work.

Applicants must have a flexible, proactive approach and be comfortable with assisting with a range of stewarding duties including customer service and crowd management support. The role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, engaging with the public and being part of high-profile, fast paced events.

Essential requirements:

Clean and tidy, good standard of personal hygiene
Must be eligible to work in the UK
Have a valid SIA licence
Ability to work independently and / or as part of a team
Flexible approach to hours and duties

Preferred requirements:

Local to Hampton Court Palace area and able to make your own way to work.

Responsibilities:

Monitor event areas to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and property
Assist guests with enquiries, providing excellent hospitality and guest services
Manage crowd control, ensuring orderly movement of attendees during events
Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, liaising with emergency services when necessary
Maintain a visible presence throughout the event to deter misconduct or unsafe behaviour

Skills:

Proven management skills with the ability to oversee large crowds efficiently
Excellent communication skills, capable of handling difficult situations calmly and professionally
Ability to remain alert and vigilant during long shifts, demonstrating attention to detail
Organised with good time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities effectively
Ability to work well under pressure in dynamic environments whilst maintaining a professional demeanour

Pay: £13.10 per hour

Work Location: In person
