Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and responsible PCV (Public Commercial Vehicle) Bus Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be the face of our organization, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services for passengers. Your expertise in driving, vehicle maintenance, and excellent communication skills will contribute to delivering a positive travel experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team committed to safety and service excellence.

Duties

Safely operate passenger buses according to scheduled routes and timetables, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct pre-trip inspections of the bus, checking mechanical systems, brakes, lights, and safety equipment to ensure optimal operation
Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, fare collection, and answering questions politely
Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents or maintenance needs during shifts
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members using clear English to coordinate routes and report issues promptly
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and reporting mechanical concerns for timely repairs
Ensure passenger safety at all times by enforcing safety rules and managing passenger behavior professionally

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge to identify basic vehicle issues and assist with maintenance or repairs when necessary
Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver with a valid driver’s license suitable for bus operation
Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record and familiarity with <PERSON> driver standards or similar certifications
Effective communication skills in English for interacting with passengers and team members clearly and confidently
Knowledge of bus safety protocols, traffic laws, and route navigation techniques
Ability to handle routine maintenance checks and minor repairs confidently
Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and professionalism in previous driving roles
