Surrey Hills Landscapes is an award-winning design-and-build company delivering premium landscape schemes across Surrey and the South East. We’re looking for a Skilled Hard Landscaper / Team Leader to join our growing team and help deliver outstanding projects to an exceptional standard.
This role is ideal for an experienced hard landscaper who already has team-leader experience or someone ready to take the next step. If you’re highly skilled, take real pride in your work, and want to develop into a leadership role, we can support you in making that jump, with clear progression in responsibility, skill set, and pay.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Setting out from scale drawings
- Drainage and groundworks
- Paving (natural stone and porcelain preferred)
- Brickwork and blockwork
- Fencing installation
- Basic carpentry
- Turfing
- A keen eye for detail and finish
Previous team-leading experience is desirable but not essential.
Requirements
- 5 years’ relevant landscaping experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to commute daily to our compound just outside Godalming
- Physically fit, reliable, and professional on site
Job Details
- Job type: Full-time, Contract
- Employment: PAYE
- Holiday: 28 days paid holiday per year
- Training: Ongoing training and structured development into a team-leader role (where required)
- Vehicle: Company vehicle provided (after probation period)
- Pension: Company pension scheme
- Salary: £32,000 – £45,000 per year (depending on experience, leadership responsibility, and progression into a team-leader role)
