Summary
We are seeking a Assistant Team Leader to support the Team Leader in overseeing daily production, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining efficient operations. This role involves supervising and supporting team members, monitoring workflow, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the management of day-to-day production activities to meet output targets
- Monitor workflow, identify issues and implement solutions to minimise disruption
- Supervise and support team members, providing guidance and on-the-job training
- Maintain high quality standards through regular checks and inspections
- Work closely with other departments (e.g. Quality, Maintenance) to ensure smooth operations and on-time delivery
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment in line with health and safety requirements
- Support performance management, including output, quality, attendance, timekeeping and behaviour
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency
- Ensure clear communication of production performance, issues and updates

About You
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to support and motivate a team
- Good understanding of production processes, quality standards and safety requirements
- Confident problem-solver with strong attention to detail
- Effective communicator with good interpersonal skills
- Proactive, resilient and able to work under pressure
- Good computer skills and experience using production systems
- Knowledge of electronic components (e.g. resistors, capacitors, ICs) is advantageous
- Experience with IPC-A-610 / AS9100 standards is desirable
