If you have experience in the relocation of large industrial machinery, including CNC, plastic injection moulding, borers / drilling equipment / presses etc then we want to hear from you.
The successful candidate will be responsible for safely manoeuvring heavy machinery and equipment within industrial, construction, and warehouse environments.
This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials handling, and rigging techniques to ensure efficient and secure placement of machinery.
The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in construction, shipping & receiving, or warehouse operations to contribute to ongoing projects and logistical operations.
Duties
- Safely rig, lift, and move heavy machinery using appropriate rigging equipment such as slings, chains, and hoists.
- Operate specialised machinery including hiab cranes and forklifts to facilitate the transportation of large items.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials in distribution & receiving areas.
- Coordinate with team members to plan the safe movement of equipment within work sites or warehouses.
- Conduct routine inspections of rigging gear and lifting devices to ensure safety standards are maintained.
- Follow all health and safety regulations during lifting operations and equipment handling.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to equipment movement and handling procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in materials handling, construction, or warehouse environments.
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to rigging, lifting, and machinery operation.
- Valid certification for operating forklifts, hiabs, or other heavy machinery preferred.
- Commercial driving licence (or equivalent) is desirable for transporting equipment between sites.
- Ability to work safely in high-pressure situations while adhering to safety protocols.
- Physical fitness to handle heavy loads and perform manual tasks over extended periods.
- Organised with excellent attention to detail to ensure customer satisfaction when delivering new machinery.

Pay: £34,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
