Full job description

Eventus Recruitment is seeking a Residential Conveyancer to join a highly reputable, long-established law firm based in Canterbury, Kent. This is a permanent, full-time role, although part-time applicants are also welcomed. The firm boasts a strong local presence, modern flexible working policies including hybrid working arrangements, salary of £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience, and a bonus scheme rewarding high performance.

Role Responsibilities

The incoming Residential Conveyancer will join a thriving and collaborative conveyancing department. Conveyancing is a major part of the firm’s business, and you’ll be joining an experienced and supportive team.

The day-to-day job duties within this Conveyancing job include:

Managing your own caseload of residential conveyancing files
Handling freehold, leasehold, remortgage, lease extension and new build matters
Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other legal professionals
Providing excellent service and maintaining strong client relationships
Contributing to the growth and success of the team

Person Specification

The successful Residential Conveyancer will be experienced in managing a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion. Applications are welcomed from Solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives, Licensed Conveyancers, and unqualified fee earners with substantial experience. You will also have the following attributes:

Strong knowledge of residential conveyancing processes
A client-focused, professional and proactive approach
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and teamworking skills
A commitment to providing high levels of client care
