Full job description

Do you have a passion for food? We are looking for a dedicated Commis Chef to join our busy kitchen team at a locally renowned 4-star spa & hotel.

Working with our Executive Chef and friendly team your responsibilities will include:

Preparing ingredients hfor our Italian/Mediterranean themed dishes
Maintaining high standards of hygiene and health & safety
Learning about all sections of the kitchen
Helping with deliveries of stock

The ideal candidate will be outgoing, positive, an excellent team player and possess the following skills: A real passion for cooking fresh food and the ambition to succeed

Recognised industry qualification – Level 2 or equivalent
Experience within the industry is preferred
Ability to learn new skills quickly
Excellent communication skills
Able to work under pressure in a busy kitchen
A flexible and self-motivated approach
Fluent in spoken English
Have a legal right to work in the UK

The role will cover a zero hour contract initially over any 7 day period with a variety of days and start times.

Lifehouse offers a wide range of luxury spa treatments, a contemporary restaurant, spa days, spa breaks, health & fitness breaks, memberships and corporate facilities. Free car parking is available on site and full use of the facilities is available to employees.
