We are seeking an enthusiastic Intern/Volunteer to join our team and gain valuable experience in accounting practices.

Job Description:

We are looking for a Trainee Bookkeeper to join our dynamic accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates seeking an internship or placement to gain hands-on experience in bookkeeping and financial management. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals, developing practical skills that will lay the foundation for a successful career in accounting.

Responsibilities:

Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and bookkeeping systems.
Enter financial transactions into the accounting software.
Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable/receivable.
Prepare invoices and process payments.
Assist with payroll processing and expense reporting.
Help with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
Support the accounting team with administrative tasks as needed.
Learn and adhere to financial regulations and standards.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage 50, VT) is preferable.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
