About Gwaunfarren Primary School

Gwaunfarren Primary School is a successful and inclusive primary school serving the community of Merthyr Tydfil. We pride ourselves on providing a nurturing environment where every pupil is encouraged to develop confidence, resilience and a lifelong love of learning.

Purpose of the Role

To provide high-quality teaching and learning experiences that enable all pupils to achieve their full potential as ambitious, capable learners; enterprising, creative contributors; ethical, informed citizens; and healthy, confident individuals. The successful candidate will contribute to the school's vision, values and improvement priorities while promoting excellence, equity and inclusion for all learners.

Successful shortlisted candidates will be asked to visit the school by appointment with the Headteacher and deliver a lesson to one of our classes.
