Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality grilled dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts to contribute to a vibrant dining experience. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent kitchen organisation, food safety adherence, and a commitment to delivering exceptional meals to our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes according to recipes and quality standards
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the grill station and surrounding areas
Assist in meal preparation and presentation to ensure visual appeal and customer satisfaction
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal results
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent service experiences
Manage stock levels of ingredients, ensuring freshness and proper storage
Follow all health and safety guidelines during food handling and preparation processes

Experience

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a chef within a restaurant or catering environment
Strong background in culinary techniques, particularly grilling methods
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene
Previous experience working in a busy kitchen setting is highly desirable
Familiarity with meal preparation, serving, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
