Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiographer to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technical expertise and excellent communication skills are essential. The Radiographer will collaborate with medical professionals to ensure high-quality imaging services are delivered efficiently and safely. This individual will form a critical part of the team with the ability to progress their career rapidly.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process clearly and compassionately.
Operate radiographic equipment accurately and safely, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Position patients correctly to obtain optimal images, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
Maintain detailed records of procedures performed, including patient information and imaging results.
Assist in the maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with medical staff to interpret imaging results and provide support where necessary.
Uphold strict confidentiality of patient information in accordance with data protection laws.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training programmes to stay current with technological advancements.

Qualifications

recognised qualification in Radiography or equivalent, with valid registration with the relevant professional body.
Knowledge of the Esaote O-Scanner
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients of all ages and backgrounds.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for accurate documentation and effective communication within the team.
Good IT skills, including familiarity with digital imaging systems and electronic health records.
Experience or interest in teaching or training others is desirable but not essential.
Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
A compassionate approach towards patients, ensuring their comfort and dignity during procedures. This position offers a rewarding career opportunity for individuals committed to delivering exceptional patient care through advanced diagnostic imaging techniques.

Pay: £60,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
