Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer/Cladder to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing and cladding systems on a variety of commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will help ensure the durability, safety, and aesthetic appeal of our clients’ buildings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your craftsmanship and technical skills to deliver high-quality results efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately install roofing and cladding systems.
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to cut, shape, and install materials with precision.
Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for lifting materials onto rooftops or into position.
Apply roofing techniques such as waterproofing, flashing, and sealing to ensure long-lasting protection against weather elements.
Fabricate custom metal components or cladding panels as needed to fit project specifications.
Conduct site inspections to verify proper installation, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Collaborate with other construction trades such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and general contractors to coordinate project timelines and quality standards.

Requirements

Proven experience in roofing, cladding, or related construction fields with a strong understanding of construction processes.
Proficiency with schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for accurate project execution.
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomics.
Knowledge of roofing materials such as metal panels, membrane systems, shingles, or tiles; familiarity with masonry or plumbing is a plus.
Strong construction background with experience in carpentry or masonry preferred.
Excellent physical condition with the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

Looking for a Roofer cladder to join my Must have CSCS card and have experience. looking for some one reliable as we have loads of work on.

Pay: £17.50-£18.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

CSCS card (preferred)
