Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Digital Print Operator to join our dynamic production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating digital printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Digital Print Operator will play a vital part in ensuring that all print jobs meet our quality standards and deadlines.
Duties
- Operate and monitor digital printing machinery to produce various printed products according to specifications.
- Prepare files and set up printers, including loading media and adjusting settings for colour accuracy and print quality.
- Conduct routine maintenance on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform quality checks on printed materials, making adjustments as necessary to maintain high standards.
- Assist with finishing processes such as cutting, folding, or assembling printed items when required.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and resolve any technical issues promptly.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, sewing equipment, and fabrication techniques as needed for finishing or assembly tasks.
- Handle heavy lifting of materials or finished products safely and efficiently within the warehouse or production area.
Requirements
- Proven experience in digital printing or related manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to operating and troubleshooting printing machinery.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, sewing, fabrication, and assembly processes.
- Warehouse experience is advantageous, particularly in handling heavy loads and organising stock.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout shifts.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control standards.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a busy production setting.

Pay: £25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
