About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team on a fixed-term basis to provide maternity leave cover.
This is an excellent opportunity to make an immediate impact within a supportive and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining continuity across key projects and day-to-day operations while contributing to the ongoing success of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process and log daily orders across both B2B and D2C channels, ensuring all customer requirements are captured and fulfilled efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain and update order, customer, and stock information using Excel and internal systems.
- Prepare and manage DPD product labelling and shipping documentation to support smooth order dispatch.
- Work closely with the Sales and Butchery teams to coordinate orders, production schedules, and customer deliveries.
- Assist with resolving customer queries, delivery issues, and order amendments.
- Support the wider team with administrative tasks to ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the business.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail across all order processing and customer communications.
- Warrendale Group Fleet Management, looking after all company vehicles
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in an administration, customer service, or order processing role.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional telephone manner.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and confidence using computer-based systems.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach and willingness to work collaboratively across departments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and customers.
Desirable
- Experience within the food, agriculture, FMCG, or logistics sectors.
- Familiarity with courier systems, including DPD.
- Experience working with B2B and B2C order fulfilment processes.
