Company Description TR Lawman Ltd. (TRL), established in 1973, supplies a wide range of products, materials, and services tailored to specific customer needs. The company primarily serves footwear manufacturers, footwear repairers, and orthopaedic footwear producers. TRL operates from offices, warehouses, and manufacturing facilities in Rushden, Northamptonshire, UK. The business is committed to offering good value for money and strives to match products to each application. Where appropriate, TRL also proposes suitable alternative solutions to meet customer requirements.

Role Description

This can be a full-time or part-time, on-site Rib Layer / Production Operative role based at TR Lawman Ltd. in Rushden. The role involves preparing and ribbing insole materials for footwear, following production specifications and work instructions. Daily tasks include operating and monitoring machinery, handling materials safely, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. The Production Operative will inspect work for quality, report any defects or issues, and support efficient workflow to meet high standards of quality and production targets. The role may also involve assisting with other production duties, and Working efficiently as part of the production team.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in footwear manufacturing or a similar production environment is desirable but not essential.
Ability to work accurately and consistently.
Strong Communication skills to work effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
Attention to detail and commitment to Quality Control, including checking materials and finished work against standards.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Willingness to participate in and provide training, including learning new procedures and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
Ability to follow health and safety procedures, work on your feet, work sitting for long periods of time and handle manual tasks safely.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work full time on-site.
