Student Communities Development Coordinator
Location: University of Leicester Students’ Union, LE1 7RH
Salary: £24,055.03
Contract: Fixed Term, Full Time until 31st July 2028
Reports to: Student Opportunities Manager
Hours: 34.5 hours per week
This role is within our Student Opportunities (Activities & Volunteering) Team, which is situated in the Percy Gee Building. The student Opportunities Team supports nearly 200 student groups, 1000+ committee members and opportunities for all student volunteers. We also create and support activities that foster student engagement across different communities, and offer support on a wide range of topics, whilst improving their skills and boosting their development.
As the Student Communities Development Coordinator for the team, you will be responsible for coordinating student volunteering and community engagement at the University of Leicester. Your responsibilities include coordinating student volunteering, fundraising, sustainability efforts, and wider community involvement. Your goal is to support and foster various student communities, helping them thrive, belong, and succeed.
Priority will be given to UOL graduates who have graduated within the last 12 months or will have graduated before 1st August 2026.
