T29 Customs is a growing camper conversion business specialising in the manufacture and installation of premium pop tops. As demand continues to grow, we're expanding our services to include additional conversion work, including window installations, insulation, carpet lining, ply lining and custom camper modifications.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in producing high-quality work, and wants to be part of a friendly, professional team.
This role would particularly suit a joiner, carpenter, cabinet maker, vehicle body repair technician, camper conversion specialist, or someone with exceptional practical craft skills.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assembling & Installing pop tops on customer vehicles.
- Fitting camper windows.
- Installing insulation, carpet lining and ply lining.
- Assisting with bespoke camper conversion projects.
- Working to a consistently high standard of workmanship.
- Moving customer vehicles safely around the workshop.
- Learning new skills and helping us expand our range of services.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Excellent practical skills and confidence using hand and power tools.
- High attention to detail.

- Professional attitude with customers and colleagues.
- Team player with a positive outlook.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good sense of humour—you'll fit in well if you enjoy a laugh while getting the job done.
Desirable:
- Experience converting campervans.
- Joinery or carpentry experience.
- Experience fitting windows, interiors or vehicle accessories.
- Experience working on camper vans, motorhomes or commercial vehicles.
Don't worry if you haven't fitted pop tops before—we're happy to train the right person who has the right attitude and practical ability.
