Tidal Mechanical & Electrical services has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our growing team. The successful candidate will oversee multiple electrical projects from pre-construction to completion, ensuring all work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent time management skills, excellent attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of electrical systems and project management methodologies. This role is essential in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget and to the highest quality standards.
What we're looking for

- Excellent communication skills with our electrical operatives, contractors, suppliers, and clients, face to face and over Teams meetings or other equivalent software applications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other supporting software applications
- Strong understanding of NICEIC requirements, BS7671 and industry regulations.
- Full UK driving Licence & willing to travel regionally
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Pre-construction meetings to develop designs in line with client scope and budgets, coordinating closely with clients and company QS to ensure full design compliance and cost alignment.
- Lead the planning and implementation of electrical projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Oversee project job costing and budgeting, ensuring accurate forecasting, cost control, and alignment with financial objectives through out the project life cycle.
- Coordinate with our engineers, Qualified Supervisor (QS), contractors, suppliers and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans that outline tasks, resources, and schedules.
- Regular site visits to monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Conduct regular meetings with team members and stakeholders to communicate updates and address any issues.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on project status for clients, senior management and stakeholders.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or in a similar role within the electrical engineering field.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, project management principles, and construction processes.
- Proficiency in time management with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
- Familiarity with CAD 2D software is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, our teams and stakeholders.
