Overview
We are seeking an experienced chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a passion for delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations
Assist in menu planning and development, offering creative input where appropriate
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including equipment and work stations
Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory efficiently
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service times
Serve dishes to customers when required, ensuring presentation meets quality standards
Uphold high standards of food hygiene and safety at all times

Qualifications

Proven experience as a chef, ideally within a restaurant or similar setting
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Experience with meal preparation for diverse dietary requirements
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Previous experience in serving or front-of-house roles is advantageous but not essential
Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred
