Full job description

Allister and Simpson Opticians, a well-established eye care provider in Neston since 1981, is seeking a dedicated experienced Optical Assistant to join our team. As an integral part of our practice, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our patient base. We take pride in our longstanding presence in the Neston community and our strong relationships with local health services..

Duties:
- Assist optometrists and opticians in conducting eye examinations and vision tests.
- Provide support in frame selection, lens fitting, and adjustments for patients.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and processing orders.
- Educate patients on proper eye wear care and usage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the optical sales floor and examination rooms.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a seamless patient experience from check-in to check-out.
