Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and personable Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring an engaging shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for merchandising, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their retail skills and grow within our organisation.

MUST be 18 Years and above to be able to work independently at Vape Shoop

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
Provide detailed product information and demonstrate features when necessary
Upsell additional items to enhance customer satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities
Maintain attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising techniques
Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and handle cash or card payments
Manage stock levels, organise stockrooms, and ensure shelves are well-stocked and tidy
Offer excellent phone etiquette when handling enquiries or assisting customers remotely
Assist with organising promotional events or seasonal displays
Ensure the store remains clean, organised, and welcoming at all times

Skills

Fluency in English
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
Organised with excellent organisational skills to manage stock and display arrangements
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Effective time management to prioritise tasks during busy periods
Ability to upsell products tactfully while maintaining excellent customer service standards
Knowledge of merchandising principles to create visually appealing displays
Professional phone etiquette for remote customer interactions

Salary

Minimum wage as per your age group
