Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile Sales, Marketing and Dispatch Operative to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting sales initiatives and assisting dispatch operations. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring smooth communication between sales and logistics. The Sales, Marketing and Dispatch Operative provides accurate, timely and professional support to the nursery sales, marketing, dispatch and office function. The role is responsible for helping enquiries, quotes, orders, certificates, dispatch paperwork, customer communications and stock-related administration move smoothly through the business.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the sales@ email inbox and respond to customer enquiries professionally and promptly.
- Answer phone calls and deal with sales, order and customer queries accurately.
- Support agreed marketing administration, customer communications and social media or website updates where instructed.
- Raise and maintain paperwork for quotes, sales orders, pick lists, dispatches and customer records.
- Use the company’s stock management software, for example WinTree, to check, enter, update and maintain accurate order and stock information where required.
- Raise pick lists and communicate clearly with cell-grown, bareroot and dispatch teams.
- Maintain a clear paperwork trail from customer enquiry through to dispatch.
- Complete seed certificates and keep the seed certificate spreadsheet and supplier documents up to date.
- File and store supplier certificates and stock documentation correctly.
- Contact and book haulage, pallets or courier services for orders when required.
- Assist with maintaining the calendar, order board and dispatch planning information.
- Assist dispatch with packing, postage and paperwork for orders when required.
- Assist with office filing systems and general administrative tasks.
- Carry out local van deliveries when required, including journey planning, vehicle checks, paperwork, safe loading and unloading.
- During quieter periods, assist with reasonable outside tasks and health and safety site administration support as required.

Pay: From £27,378.00 per year
