Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Communication Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in both electrical and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to interpret schematics. This role involves installing and maintaining radio communication systems whilst providing exceptional customer service. The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and troubleshoot communication systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Interpret and work from schematics to install, repair and upgrade equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on equipment.
- Document all activities on InspHire.
Requirements
- Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge is essential for this role.
- A solid understanding of networking.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics related to communication systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
- Ability to work overtime when required, this will include overnight stays and weekend duties (based on a rota).
