Demand Planner – Graduate Trainee
Dover |£28,000 per annum |Full‑time, Permanent (Monday-Friday 08:30-5pm)
Your Opportunity
Take ownership of our demand and production planning cycle and play a central role in keeping our UK manufacturing operation running smoothly and efficiently.
Drive forecast accuracy, shape the Master Production Schedule, and manage Capable-to-Promise commitments, working directly with Sales and Production to ensure the right materials are in the right place at the right time.
As a Demand Planner, you will work at the intersection of Sales, Supply Chain, and Production, turning customer demand signals into actionable plans. This is a role where your analysis, planning judgement, and cross-functional collaboration will genuinely influence our operations.
What Will You Be Doing?
· Developing and maintaining demand forecasts using sales data and customer input.
· Producing and managing the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
· Managing Capable-to-Promise (CTP) requests, balancing customer demand with production capacity and material availability to support realistic delivery commitments.
· Running MRP to generate material requirements and align with Supply Chain purchasing.
· Participating in S&OP meetings and cross-functional planning reviews.
· Maintaining accurate planning data in our ERP system and reporting on forecast accuracy and schedule adherence.

Who We’re Looking For
· Graduate‑level candidates early in their career.
· Analytically minded with a comfortable relationship with data and numbers.
· Organised, methodical, and able to manage multiple priorities.
· Strong communicator who can work confidently across Sales, Production, and Supply Chain.
· Interest in planning, operations, supply chain, or manufacturing roles.
· Awareness of planning concepts such as MPS, MRP, or S&OP is an advantage but not essential.

· £28,000 starting salary.
