Sunray Engineering Limited is a market-leading manufacturer and installer of Steel and Timber Security Doors, Fire Doors, Louvre Panels, Access Hatches, and specialist Blast and Ballistic Protection solutions. Our products are specified across a wide range of sectors throughout the UK and internationally.

We are looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to join our Internal Sales Team and play a key role in supporting customer enquiries, quotations and sales administration activities.

Key Responsibilities

Follow up quotations and provide regular updates on potential order conversions.
Monitor contract and enquiry progress, maintaining accurate records throughout the sales process.
Manage and support the Sales Inbox, pre-qualifying enquiries before allocation to Estimators.
Act as a first point of contact for customers, recording enquiry and client information accurately.
Liaise with customers to clarify requirements and gather information needed to support quotation preparation.
Support forecasting and quotation conversion reporting.
Ensure customer enquiries receive a response within agreed timescales.
Maintain accurate records of project activity and customer communications.
Update customer and enquiry information within company systems.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience in a customer service, sales support, or administrative position.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Confidence using IT systems and maintaining accurate records.
Experience supporting quotation, estimating or sales processes would be advantageous but is not essential.
