Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Double Glazing Installer and bring your expertise in window and glass installation to life! In this energetic role, you’ll be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing double-glazed windows and doors with precision and care. Your skills will help enhance the energy efficiency, security, and aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities

Measure and install double-glazed windows and doors according to project specifications and schematics
Prepare work sites by ensuring safety protocols are followed and tools are organized for efficient workflow
Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to accurately complete installations
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot installation issues and adapt plans as needed
Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure durability, insulation performance, and aesthetic standards are met
Remove old windows or damaged glass units carefully while minimizing disruption to the property
Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered during installation

Requirements

Proven experience with construction-related tasks such as roofing, carpentry, masonry or general building work
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics interpretation
Knowledge of glazing techniques along with experience in fabrication or carpentry is highly desirable
Familiarity with electrical systems or plumbing is a plus but not mandatory
Ability to read construction drawings and schematics accurately for precise installation planning
Strong physical stamina to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and perform manual tasks safely
Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving
