Job Title:
SIA Front of House Security Operative

Vacancy Type:
Permanent Part-Time

Location:
Butchers Arms, Oswestry

Salary:
£15 Per Hour

About Us:
Butchers Arms is a lively, town-centre cocktail bar renowned for its exceptional atmosphere and guest experience.

What We’re Looking For:

A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
At least 12 months experience in the leisure industry or a customer service role
Compliance with BS7858 standards, with the ability to provide a 5-year checkable work history
Reliability, flexibility, and a commitment to excellence

What We Offer:

£15 per hour, paid weekly
Holiday pay and company pension scheme
Immediate start (subject to pre-screening)

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome guests with a professional and friendly attitude
Ensure the safety and security of customers, staff, and the venue
Respond effectively to disturbances or incidents, following set procedures
Conduct security searches when required
Maintain a smart appearance and a customer-focused approach
Work confidently under pressure and demonstrate sound decision-making in challenging situations
Collaborate with the team to uphold high standards

Key Skills:

Excellent communication and customer service skills
Problem-solving ability and a proactive attitude
Calm and confident demeanour when managing disruptions
Professionalism and logical thinking at all times
