Job Title: Commis Chef/Breakfast Chef

Location: Kirriemuir Golf Club

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Job Type: Part Time/ Full Time - Seasonal

About Us:

Nestled in the heart of Angus, Kirriemuir Golf Club is a welcoming and vibrant golf club known for its stunning views, friendly community, and outstanding hospitality. Our clubhouse offers a relaxed yet refined dining experience, catering to members, guests, and private events. We are looking for a passionate and motivated Commis Chef/Breakfast Chef to join our culinary team and help us deliver exceptional dishes that reflect our commitment to quality.

The Role:

You will play a key role in our kitchen, ensuring the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes meets our high standards. You will assist in maintaining food safety and hygiene, and contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook breakfast items to a high standard, ensuring consistency and presentation.
Assist with general food preparation and mise en place across all sections of the kitchen.
Support senior chefs with day-to-day kitchen operations.
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
Follow food safety and health & safety regulations in line with company policies.
Monitor and report stock levels and assist in stock rotation.
Maintain a clean and organised workstation.
Work efficiently during busy breakfast service to meet time requirements.

About You:

-Proven experience as a Commis Chef/Breakfast chef or similar role.

-Passion for cooking and delivering high-quality dishes.

-Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

-Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.

-Flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and special events as required.
