Job Overview

Careston carvings joinery& construction

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality. This role involves performing various tasks that require physical strength, dexterity, and the ability to follow instructions accurately. The Skilled Labourer will contribute to the successful completion of projects while ensuring safety and efficiency on-site.

Responsibilities

Carry out general labour tasks including loading, unloading, and moving materials as required.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Assist in the assembly and installation of structures or components.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to managem

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar labour-intensive role is preferred but not essential.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects
Familiarity with construction tools and equipment is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
A valid driver's licence is beneficial for transportation purposes.
