Overview

Join our dynamic security team as a SIA Door Supervisor and become the frontline guardian of safety and order at our vibrant venues. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, managing access control, and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors and staff. Your presence will help foster a safe, welcoming atmosphere where everyone can enjoy their time confidently. Duties

Welcome guests and verify their eligibility for entry, ensuring adherence to venue policies and licensing regulations
Conduct thorough security checks, including bag searches and ID verification, to prevent unauthorized access
Maintain vigilant surveillance of the premises to deter theft, vandalism, and other disturbances
Respond promptly and professionally to incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid when necessary
Enforce venue rules with tact and professionalism, managing crowd control during busy periods or special events
Record detailed incident reports and log entries accurately to ensure comprehensive documentation of daily activities

Skills

Strong understanding of loss prevention techniques to protect assets and minimize theft or damage
Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse audiences while maintaining authority and professionalism
Ability to remain calm under pressure during emergencies or challenging situations
Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) Door Supervisor license is essential for legal compliance
Knowledge of basic first aid procedures to assist injured individuals promptly and confidently
Familiarity with venue safety protocols, crowd management strategies, and conflict resolution techniques
