Machine Operative
Location: Kirriemuir, Scotland (Please note: the factory will relocate to Dundee in the future)
Salary: £15.25 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: Nightshift; Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6am

Our factory will be relocating to Dundee in the near future, and applicants should be willing to commute to that location when the time comes.

Job Description
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Machine Operative to join our production team. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking company, with full training provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor machinery after training.
Ensure productivity and quality.
Perform routine quality checks and follow reporting procedures.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in your work area.
Work effectively as part of a team while also using your own initiative.
Follow all health and safety protocols.
Support continuous improvement and promote a “right first time” approach.
Undertake other duties as needed to support the production process.

A proactive and flexible approach to work.
A strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is desirable, but not essential – full training will be provided.
