Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive mechanical knowledge and a passion for vehicle maintenance and repair. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of automotive systems, utilise advanced tools, and deliver exceptional service to our valued customers. The position is fully paid and requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety within the workshop environment.

Duties

Diagnose complex vehicle issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and mechanical expertise
Perform repairs and maintenance on a wide range of automotive systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical components
Utilise hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently and accurately
Conduct equipment repair and maintenance to ensure workshop safety and operational efficiency
Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams to facilitate precise repairs
Assist in training junior technicians and apprentices on advanced repair techniques
Maintain detailed records of all work carried out in accordance with company standards
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards

Skills

Strong knowledge of automotive systems and mechanical principles
Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
Experience in vehicle maintenance, repair, and equipment troubleshooting
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently within the workshop environment
Capable of working independently or as part of a team under pressure
Organised with attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship at all times
