Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled 360 excavator operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and have experience operating heavy machinery on commercial sites. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects while developing your expertise in earthmoving and excavation operations.

Duties

Operate 360 excavators safely and efficiently across various construction sites
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance
Assist with site preparation, digging, trenching, and material handling tasks
Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a secure working environment
Collaborate with site managers and other operatives to coordinate activities and meet project deadlines
Maintain accurate records of work performed and machinery usage
Support other construction activities as required, including assisting with loading and unloading materials

Experience

Proven experience operating 360 excavators in a commercial construction setting
Mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on equipment
Valid commercial driving licence, preferably with experience driving lorries or similar vehicles on-site
Familiarity with health and safety standards relevant to heavy machinery operation
Prior experience working in diverse environments, demonstrating adaptability and reliability

This role is vital for the successful completion of our projects, requiring a dedicated professional with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Pay: £21.00-£23.00 per hour
