Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Provide knowledgeable information about products and services to enhance customer understanding.
- Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring that merchandise is well-displayed and stocked.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge, promotions, and store policies to provide accurate information to customers.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential.
- Previous experience in visual merchandising is preferred but not essential
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer calls or inquiries when necessary.
- A proactive approach to communication, ensuring clarity and understanding with both customers and colleagues.
