Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic vibrant Duty Manager at our busy 119 bedroom Hotel in Fort William

40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 as per the management rota, this role is straight shifts - no splits. Shifts of 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm. Some shifts may vary when there are functions and events.

Duties

Supervise daily operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Provide outstanding guest services, addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
Lead and motivate the team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and high performance.
Assist in the training and development of staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Manage front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and reservations.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and feedback for quality assurance.
Implement health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both guests and staff.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or hotel industry is preferred however not essential.
Strong guest service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
Excellent leadership qualities with a proven track record in supervising teams.
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

The successful applicant will be given full reception training.
