Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic vibrant Duty Manager at our busy 119 bedroom Hotel in Fort William
40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 as per the management rota, this role is straight shifts - no splits. Shifts of 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm. Some shifts may vary when there are functions and events.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Provide outstanding guest services, addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Lead and motivate the team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and high performance.
- Assist in the training and development of staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and reservations.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and feedback for quality assurance.
- Implement health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both guests and staff.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or hotel industry is preferred however not essential.
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
- Excellent leadership qualities with a proven track record in supervising teams.
- Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
The successful applicant will be given full reception training.
