Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiting/Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest services, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and memorable dining experience. This role involves serving food and beverages, assisting guests with their orders, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety our 5 Star Hotel. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends, is essential. Staff Accommodation is available for those who need it.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and take their orders efficiently and accurately
Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining presentation standards
Assist guests with menu selections, upselling specials or additional items to enhance their experience
Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are adhered to at all times
Prepare basic food items or garnishes as required, following health and safety guidelines
Clear tables promptly and reset for new guests to maintain a clean dining environment
Handle cash or electronic payments accurately, providing correct change when necessary
Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including bar counters, tables, and utensils
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction
Manage guest requests or complaints professionally, aiming for swift resolution

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
Basic maths skills for processing payments and bills accurately
Experience with food preparation or culinary tasks is a plus
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities during busy periods
Ability to deliver outstanding guest service with a friendly and professional demeanour
Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and peak hours as required
