Overview
We at Benview Guesthouse are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the guest house. Working with a small team to ensure a work friendly environment and a positive attitude.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks meet health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of communal areas
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and efficiently.
- Restock supplies as needed and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, or hospital housekeeping is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
- Flexibility to adapt to different shifts as required.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards guests
Pay: From £15.00 per hour
