Overview
Part-Time Shop Assistant – Raw Pet Food Store (21 hours/week)
Location: Raw Pet Food Shrewsbury
Pay: Minimum wage (as per national guidelines)

Are you passionate about dogs and interested in healthy, natural pet nutrition? We're looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking Shop Assistant to join our small team at our specialist raw dog food shop.
We are looking for longevity so this job would not be suitable for someone looking for part time hours in between college/uni holidays, or can not commit to all the designated hours every week.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Assisting customers with product advice and purchases
Handling stock, deliveries, and freezers (must be comfortable working in cold conditions)
Restocking shelves and maintaining a clean, organized shop
Using the till and processing payments
Keeping records of stock movement and following hygiene protocols
Helping educate customers about raw feeding and pet nutrition (full training provided)

What We’re Looking For:

A genuine love for animals and an interest in natural pet food
Friendly, approachable, and confident speaking to customers
Physically fit and able to lift heavy items (e.g., boxes of frozen food, large deliveries etc) Due to the requirements of the job it is an age 18+ job role.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Previous customer service or raw feeding experience is a plus, but not essential
Must be available for set days through weekday, this being every Thursday, Friday and Saturdays. Please do not apply if you can not work every Thursday, Friday and Saturday each week.

Working Hours:
21 hours per week, this would be every Thursday and Friday 9am-5pm and every Saturday at 9am-2pm.
