Burfields House Wealth Management is a well established practice of St. James’s Place Wealth Management plc (SJP) a leading, and highly regarded, Wealth Management company which distributes a range of Investment and Retirement products and financial solutions to a High-Net-Worth client base.
The Role
Working closely with our team of Advisors, the job holder will be responsible for:

Maintaining client files and inputting data into CFRs.

Collating client information, preparing illustrations and calculations.

Ensuring business obtained is processed compliantly and in a timely manner.

Chasing pipeline business from start to finish.

Liaising with third parties, paraplanners, and other stakeholders.

Providing general support to the adviser, including managing phone calls, passing on messages, highlighting important items, and reminding of tasks and deadlines.

Attending client meetings, preparing materials, and following up on actions.

Producing ad hoc reports and responding to client queries.

Drafting letters, emails, and other client communications.

Ensuring client and internal documents are accurate, up-to-date, and stored securely.

Providing ad hoc support to the adviser, anticipating needs, and proactively helping where necessary.

Handling sensitive information with complete discretion.
The Person
We are looking for a confident, professional, and organised individual who:

Is numerate, IT proficient, and enjoys using their initiative.

Works with a “can do” attitude and can manage multiple priorities.

Has experience in financial services (beneficial but not essential).

Demonstrates excellent communication skills and can build rapport with clients, colleagues, and third parties.

Has strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Is proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Has strong organisational and time management skills, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Is flexible, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Maintains total discretion and professionalism at all times.
Benefits & Additional Information

Hours - Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Annual leave – 25 days per annum. After 3 years of service, an additional 1 year per year will be added (3-7 years).

Bank holidays (8 per year) are on top of this additional allowance.

Important
Initially based between our Tenterden and Goudhurst offices during training. Once trained, the "home base" will move to Mallard House in Goudhurst, with a requirement to work 1 day per week in Cranbrook and 1 day per week in Tenterden (set days).
Due to the rural location of our offices and the requirement to commute to different offices, you must be a driver/ car owner.
