Operations Coordinator

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.

Hours of Work: 08:00am - 05:00pm Monday to Friday, 1 hour unpaid lunchbreak.

Location: Office Based - Hazeleigh, Essex (CM3 6QT) - Due to the office location you must hold full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.

The Company: EJT63 Limited - part of EJT Group. The EJT name has been part of the construction industry since 1963, and today the same experienced team continues that work across our brands - E J Taylor, EJT Construction, Esmera and Millstar - covering civil engineering, construction, housing development and plant hire.

The Role:

We're looking for an Operations Coordinator to sit at the heart of our Operations Team - the first point of contact for site managers, keeping plant hire, fuel, supplies, welfare and transport running smoothly across our sites. You'll manage our ticketing system, liaise with suppliers, and make sure nothing slips through the net.

You may occasionally be required to travel to our sites or suppliers

It's a fast-paced, varied role, and central to how the whole operation runs day to day.

We're prioritising attitude over experience - full training provided.

You'll be a good fit if you're:

Proactive - if you don't know something, you go and find out
Someone who follows processes properly and sees them through
Confident on the phone and by email
Organised, detail-focused, and good under deadlines
A team player who keeps people in the loop
Comfortable when priorities shift fast
Honest and reliable

(Advantage but not essential):

Admin, coordination or procurement experience
Experience with ticketing systems (Zammad, Zendesk, Freshdesk)
Background in construction, plant hire or logistics
Understanding of purchase orders/invoicing
Motivated and willing to learn
