Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter and Decorator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for craftsmanship and attention to detail to contribute to diverse projects within the construction and renovation sectors. The ideal applicant will possess strong communication skills, a good understanding of construction painting techniques, and a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities:

Interior painting and decorating
Preparing surfaces, including sanding, filling and masking
Painting walls, ceilings, doors, skirting boards and woodwork
Cutting in neatly and producing a clean finish
Keeping work areas clean and tidy
Working professionally in customers’ homes and commercial premises
Completing jobs to a high standard without constant supervision

Requirements:

Previous painting and decorating experience is essential
Must be confident working independently
Must be reliable, punctual and trustworthy
Good attention to detail
Able to produce a clean, professional finish
Own tools preferred
Driving licence preferred

What we offer:

£120.00-£150.00 per day
