The role is varied, and you will deliver all types of driver training courses. This role will challenge you but will provide you with a rewarding career. This is an essential role within the organisation, not only in terms of driving standards, reduction of police accidents and repair costs, but also providing our people with the essential skills to serve our public.

You will need to possess the following training requirements:
Fully qualified College of Policing recognised Police Driving Instructor or Police Driver Trainer.
A teaching assessment centre or interview process may be required, but if you hold a level 4 teaching qualification (C.O.P. Trainer Essentials Programme) or above please indicate, if you have delivered driver training sessions in the last six months which can be validated, please evidence by way of e-mail from supervisor or qualified teacher within your team/unit.
