Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our domiciliary care specialising in senior care, including dementia and Alzheimer’s care. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, assessment, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and leading a team of compassionate professionals. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents while demonstrating strong leadership and management skills within a supportive environment.

Duties

Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care ensuring the delivery of person-centred care tailored to individual needs
Able to do ruburst assessments of needs
Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans for residents, including specialised dementia and Alzheimer’s care programmes.
Supervise and support staff members, fostering a positive team environment characterised by professionalism and compassion.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards related to assisted living, nursing home, and home care services.
Oversee medication administration procedures, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed.
Monitor staff training requirements and organise ongoing professional development opportunities.
Maintain accurate documentation relating to resident care, staff rotas, and regulatory audits.
Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive resident support.
Lead initiatives aimed at continuous improvement in service quality and resident satisfaction.
Manage budgets effectively whilst ensuring operational efficiency.Qualifications
Proven experience within assisted living or nursing home environments, with a strong background in senior care including dementia and Alzheimer’s care.
Relevant management or supervisory experience within a care home setting.
Registered Manager qualification or equivalent recognised by regulatory bodies.
Knowledge of current legislation governing adult social care services in the UK.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in care planning and documentation.
Compassionate approach with a genuine commitment to enhancing residents’ quality of life.
