Are you a newly qualified or more experienced Dietitian looking to work within a friendly, supportive Community Dietetic team in a band 5 to 6 development position?
Would you enjoy working in a community setting but with strong links to dietetic teams across Somerset?
We have an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified Dietitian or for a dietitian with some post-registration experience to work alongside our Renal Specialist Dietitian and also our wider Community Dietetic Team.
What are we looking for?
Ideally, you'll have varied under-graduate experience, covering a range of specialties (and ideally some renal, outpatient clinics and general medical work). We also welcome applications from dietitians with post-graduate experience, looking for the opportunity to develop from a band 5 to a more specialist band 6 position. Good communication skills and MDT working experience are essential. Training and support will be available.
You need to be registered as a Dietitian with the Health and Care Professions Council and ideally have NHS experience.
At Somerset NHS Foundation Trust, we're committed to supporting our employees with a range of benefits designed to enhance your professional and personal life. We offer:
-
Flexible working options to help you balance work and life
-
NHS pension scheme for long-term financial security
-
Generous annual leave allowance to recharge and relax
-
A strong focus on career development to help you grow and achieve your potential
Additionally, you'll gain access to our Blue Light Card, unlocking exclusive discounts on shopping, dining, and leisure activities, as well as NHS-specific perks to support you both inside and outside of work.
We are proud to foster a diverse, skilled, and inclusive workforce, and we encourage applications from all backgrounds.
