Full job description

Rock Out Baby hosts music classes for babies and toddlers in Bristol, Bath, Bradford on Avon, Frome and Warminster. Our classes are 30 - 45 minutes long and we usually host 2 - 3 classes back to back in one venue. We play a mixture of nursery rhymes, original songs and Rock and Roll songs.

We're currently looking for a new musician for maternity cover to join our books for four afternoons between 1:30-3:30 starting October. The work would be at a nursery in Frome, but there is flexibility to do more hours at the weekends with parties. Cover may also be required for two mornings a week running classes in Frome and Warminster. The correct candidate must be able to sing and play guitar or ukulele and must have experience with children and be very organised.

Training to start in September.

The set list changes from week to week so it's important to have a good repertoire of songs under your belt as well as ability to learn songs quickly.

Must be able to drive and have their own car.

For the right person this is a very fulfilling and flexible job with high rates of pay. Starting musicians are paid £65 per afternoon at the nursery. Classes are hosted in the morning from 9.30 - 11 and will be paid at £20 per morning.

For the right person there is an opportunity to take over ownership of the classes and progress their career with Rock Out Baby.

This is a maternity cover role from beginning of October to beginning of March, but could potentially have more work after this period.

Pay: £30.00 per hour
