Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Operative to join our construction site team. This is a key role in supporting day-to-day site operations, assisting with deliveries, and carrying out a variety of general duties as required. The successful candidate will be proactive, capable of working independently, and hold a valid CSCS card or equivalent competency. Candidates with valid plant operation tickets (e.g. dumper or telehandler) will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the site management team with general labouring and operational tasks.
- Assist with the coordination and safe movement of vehicles and deliveries on site.
- Operate plant and machinery if appropriately qualified.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area and uphold site safety standards.
- Carry out manual handling tasks and other duties as directed by site management.
- Strong history of following and complying with all health and safety protocols to ensure the wellbeing of all personnel on site.
Requirement:
- Valid CSCS card (or recognised equivalent).
- Plant operation tickets (such as excavator, dumper, or telehandler) are highly desirable.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a general operative or construction site role is desirable.
- Able to work under CIS or as self-employed (Ltd Company).
- Available for immediate start (22/06/26)
Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday: 07:00 - 18:00

Contract length: 3 months
Pay: £170.00-£180.00 per day
