Job Overview
Trebro UK is a family-run, rapidly growing business specialising in the supply and maintenance of new and used turf harvesting machinery, including the full range of Trebro turf harvesters. We’re currently looking for a Travelling Service Technician to join our team.
About the Role
As a Travelling Service Technician, your main responsibilities will include travelling the UK & Europe on both emergency breakdowns and scheduled servicing, repairing, and diagnosing faults on turf harvesting machinery—primarily Trebro harvesters. This includes mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical work. Part of the work will take place at our Wilberfoss site, where you’ll be involved in the maintenance and refurbishment of machines.
About You
We're looking for someone with hands-on mechanical experience. A background in agriculture is a bonus, but not essential. What matters most is a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a passion for fixing things.
Essential:
- Mechanical experience (any industry)
- A full, clean UK driving licence
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
Desirable:
- Experience with hydraulics and electrics
- Previous work with turf or agricultural machinery
Training & Support
You’ll receive full training, starting by working alongside our experienced technicians. Once confident, you’ll begin working independently with ongoing support from the team.
Salary
Salary is competitive and negotiable based on experience.
