Full job description

Salary: £40,608 - £43,488 per annum + **Benefits Package including Gym Membership, Health Cashback Scheme and EV Vehicle Scheme**

240 hours per month (2 days on and 4 days off. That is only 10 shifts a month!)

Overtime available at £17.10 per hour

Care Services To You provide specialist single occupancy homes to young people who have complex social, emotional and mental health needs. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Team Leader/Service Coordinator to lead our team and ensure the highest standards of care.

The Role:

As the Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential services, ensuring that high-quality care and support are provided to young people alongside the Homes Manager and Registered Manager. You will lead and coordinate a team of support workers, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires flexibility, as being on-call is a requirement to provide support and address any emergencies outside of regular working hours. Additionally, the shift pattern for this position is 2 days on and 4 days off. That is only 10 shifts a month!

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the residential service, ensuring high standards of care.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of support workers, providing guidance and support.
Develop and implement individualised care plans for young people.
Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and other relevant legislation.
Coordinate staff schedules and manage resources effectively.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Conduct regular staff training and development sessions.
Liaise with external agencies, including social services, healthcare providers, and educational institutions.
Address any issues or emergencies promptly, including on-call responsibilities.
Take part in the services on-call Schedule

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of 1 years’ experience within a residential care setting.
NVQ Level 3/4in residential child care; NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare is desirable or willing to work towards
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and other relevant legislation.
Excellent leadership and management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle emergencies.
Flexibility to work a shift pattern of 2 days on and 4 days off, including on-call responsibilities.
