Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team in the role of ice cream van driver/server. This position involves providing exceptional service in a dynamic food service environment, ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient food preparation and attentive service. The successful candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, excellent time management skills, and a friendly demeanour to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of food items in accordance with established recipes and quality standards
Assist in the organisation and maintenance of the kitchen area, ensuring cleanliness and food safety compliance
Deliver outstanding customer service by taking orders, serving food, and addressing guest needs promptly
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
Follow all food safety regulations and hygiene standards diligently
Support team members as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous
Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately
Experience with kitchen operations or culinary arts is desirable training will be provided for the right candidate
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during peak hours
Friendly, professional manner with strong communication skills
Ability to work well within a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment
